neo magazine was produced shortly after completing a Fine Art degree and not long after leaving a student newspaper. It covered Arts and Music and featured lots of interviews, reviews and articles. This issue featured an interview with radical graphic designer David Carson - featured here on the cover.
I developed the concept and did all the design. I also conducted many interviews and wrote them up. I was in the position of having complete artistic freedom to produce something quite radical (but always legible) especially in terms of layout. Which in retrospect is something very few designers have the chance of doing.
